Flower of Cycling Saturdays
L'Etape Slovenia is not only a two-day cycling holiday, which will have its premiere on 3rd and 4th September 2022 in Kranj, but it is a year-round event, an important part of that are the "cycled" kilometers.
Since cycling in a group and pleasant company is much more enjoyable, motivating and fun than cycling by oneself, we will enable six unique cycling gatherings in cooperation with the club Gremo na kolo and Visit Kranj. So to speak, preparations for September D Day.
Six Saturday cycling trainings - six unforgettable socializing events
Six Saturday cycling trainings will take place on the varied terrain around Kranj - in stages of the Kranj Flower of Cycling. The charm of this is that each stage leads us to its end, where we get to know nearby towns, surrounding hills, natural lakes, Brdo Park, the canyon of the river Kokra below the city of Kranj… Each stage or flower touches here and there the original route of L'Etape Slovenia.
All those who have already registered for the L'Etape Slovenia cycling event over 145 or 70 km, as well as all other cyclists who are still thinking about it and those who are cyclists “by nature” are invited to the events.

"Afterparty" socializing in the Khislstein castle yard
The timetable of the stages was set from easier to harder depending on the complexity of the route profile. Cyclists will have the opportunity to cycle routes together in small groups and at the end of each ride we MUST meet in the Khislstein castle yard in the center of Kranj, where we will find a rich accompanying program, animations, test drives, prize games, massages and socializing in a true cycling atmosphere and … we promise other surprises as well.
Saturday becomes a day for "custom" cycling gatherings
The cycling of the selected stage will not take place as a group ride, as we do not want you to "hunt for records". Participants will upload prepared files (gpx.) to their bike computers or mobile devices and use it to ride the chosen Saturday route at their own pace. Relaxed, racing, strictly along the planned route or with a detour to the sights near the routes and a short stop for a photo 😊.
The coaches of the Gremo na kolo team will also be present, sharing expert advice with you and encouraging you while riding.

Khislstein Postcard from the center of cycling events
The castle yard will be our common destination of every Saturday stage and the central venue for events after the ride (i.e., after party 😊) of the Kranj Flower of Cycling stage. The varied events will include bike and cycling equipment tests, prize games, massages and other small surprises.
Registration for events is therefore mandatory to secure your participation.

The registration fee of EUR 129.99 includes the upper part of the cycling jersey in the image of L'Etape Slovenia, manufactured by Ale, and is the same for both lengths of the route: 70 and 145 km.
The registration fee of EUR 129.99 is valid until 31st July 2022, after this date it is EUR 149.99.
