L'Etape Slovenia Village

The central scene of the event will be in Slovenski trg, where a real village of L'Etape Slovenia will be setup, and cycling will take place in its immediate vicinity in the afternoon, presumably from 3 pm onward. We will publish the program with the timetable in due course.

6. All technically sound bikes are suitable for Saturday cycling.

Children's cycling - probably a child's first experience of the legendary Tour

Cycling events for toddlers and children up to the age of 12 take place in the immediate vicinity of Slovenski trg and run in an 800 m long circle. Three age categories with different track lengths are as follows:

• Children A, > 4 years: 1 round, push bike or bike. Total length: 800 m.
• Children B, 4,5–8 years: 2 rounds, bike. Total length: 1,6 km.
• Children C, 9–12 years: 3 round, bike. Total length: 2,4 km.

Prior free registration is required due to the limited number of places. Applications are open until vacancies are filled.

Family cycling and cycling for all ages

The first-class experience of cycling in a group accompanied by vehicles on roads closed to traffic or with a movable barrier. The route is just under 13 km long and leads from Slovenski trg in Kranj through the city center–Britof–Brdo–Kokrica–Kranj.

Cycling takes place at a leisurely pace and is non-competitive, without timing. It is suitable for all children who have already passed their cycling driving license test and are used to cycling in a group. The child must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or adult and wear a protective helmet.
