Prepare yourself for unforgettable cycling experience

Start number pick-up, warm-up, equipment and start

Pick up your start number on time and correctly install the timing chip and your start number: on your back and on your bike. For the premiere edition, Garmin has made it possible to warm up on cycling trainers, otherwise we advise you to warm up before the start with stretching exercises and prepare your muscles for cycling advanture. Check your equipment and make sure your helmet is properly fitted, and your cycling jersey is comfortable. Place yourself in the starting zone and start calmly - kilometer 0 is marked on the route.

Sufficient hydration and nutrient intake before, during and after the Ride/Race

Make sure that you drink enough liquid with vitamins and minerals (normal water is not recommended because it is devoid of nutrients and minerals) and take some energy bars before the start. Don't forget to fill your water bottle, and just put some energy bars in your pocket. During the ride, ensure regular drinking and intake of nutrients, preferably every 10 km or even more often if it will be very hot and/or you feel the need. There will also be refreshment stations along the route where you can replenish your supplies. Good luck!

When crossing a finish line a medal is waiting for you!

Family and children's cycling on Saturday is without timing. Time is measured in Ride (68km) and Race (136km). The winners in the age categories receive prizes, and the original iconic Tour de France jerseys will be given to the winners.

We encourage all participants to follow the green guidelines.

Sunday: live broadcast at Planet TV and online

The official results of Sunday's race will be announced after the arrival of all participants at the finish line. At the venue, the official reporter will comment live on the events on both routes, and you will be able to watch the race broadcast on Planet TV and online - live streaming.

When you're feeling refreshed at the finish line, just come to our masseurs, who will be happy to massage your tired legs.

Sunday: free meal

All participants of the Sunday's Ride and Race receive a voucher for a hot meal. You may choose between meat and vegetable Mlinotesst pasta. Bon appetit!

The awards ceremony and the iconic Tour de France jerseys will take place at the central venue on Slovenski trg.

Exhibitors

The L'Etape Slovenia village takes place at Slovenski trg in Kranj and opens its "door" on Saturday in the middle of the day, where L'Etape Slovenia partners and other exhibitors present their products, services and offer various activities, promotions and tastings to visitors and participants of cycling events.

The venue is the heart of the 2-day festival in the immediate vicinity of the start-finish area, where there is also a stage and a big screen. The village is alive until the end of the event until Sunday afternoon.
