Ambassador of L'Etape Slovenia just centimeters away from winning the last stage of the Tour of Slovenia
The 28th Tour of Slovenia took place and from 15 June to 19 June 2022, we were able to admire the extraordinary power of individuals
The last days were hot, as many Slovenians, road cycling and sports enthusiasts sweated when cheering passionately for our cyclists. On Sunday, the last stage of the 28th Tour of Slovenia took place, which once again impressed with the beautiful scenery of green Slovenia and inspired with the achievements of our champions, the World's top cyclists.
Tadej Pogačar crowned the 28th Tour of Slovenia overall victory
Tadej Pogačar (UAE Emirates) crowned the 28th Tour of Slovenia overall victory by taking the last stage in Novo mesto, beating Matej Mohorič (Bahrain Victorious), ambassador of L'Etape Slovenia in the sprint finish, and Rafal Majka (UAE Emirates) taking third place. In the final general classification, Domen Novak (Bahrain Victorious) was third.
From 15 June to 19 June 2022, we were able to admire the extraordinary power and study the sophisticated cycling technique of individuals, also having the opportunity to cheer live and promote the entire cycling peloton through many places in Slovenia.
5 stages, 5 start-finish points: Nova Gorica – Postojna, Ptuj – Rogaška Slatina, Žalec – Celje, Laško – Velika planina, Vrhnika – Novo mesto; inbetween the diversity of the Slovenian landscape with numerous mountain ascents and attractive descents. We believe that anyone who is at least a little bit in love with cycling got many ideas for active leisure time and cycling at slightly lower speeds on parts of the stages of the Tour of Slovenia while cheering for the top cyclists. Family, recreational, road, mountain, e-bikes. All cyclists are welcome to prepare for the first L'Etape Slovenia legendary experience in September.

All recreational cyclists are invited to Kranj on the first weekend of September: on Saturday, September 3 2022, for family cycling with accompanying program and on Sunday for a special test for road cyclists at 70 or 145 km long routes of L'Etape Slovenia.
