The surroundings of Tržič with Kriško Polje and the expanses of Udin Boršt, as well as the valleys of Tržiška Bistrica and Mošenik, will be ideal for you. The route to Jelendol, through Dovžanova Gorge and along the Stegovnik stream, ends with a beautiful waterfall. Another lovely destination is the split Tominčev waterfall on the Beli Potok in the Podljubelj Valley.

You will be thrilled by the slopes of Košuta, Dobrča, Kriška Gora, and Begunjščica. You can reach most of the alpine pastures and mountain huts by bike. ŠUŠTARSKA NEDELJA (Shoemaker's Sunday)
On Angel Sunday, the first Sunday in September, the streets of Tržič come alive and attract many visitors to the town under the Karawanks. Šuštarska Nedelja has evolved from the fairs of Tržič. The four-day festival under the common name Šuštarfest will start on Thursday, August 29, 2024, culminating on Sunday, September 1, 2024, with the traditional fair and a rich accompanying program.
